Today is a new day

2020 has been a wild ride for everyone. One thing is certain - change.
As a marketer, I'm lucky to have the ability to work from home. I'm still adjusting to work from home life, it's quite. 100% home office since Friday, March 13th has brought out new challenges for an extrovert like me. I choose to tackle them with a smile (sometimes forced) and make the best of my new quiet work space.
I've settled into my home office with a few changes.
Furniture moving - I'm not a fan of the blur background on video calls. Now everyone doesn't have to look at the elliptical handles (horns) coming out of my head.
Wall decor - To inspire and bring positive energy into my space.
New desk - I couldn't take another day without a standing desk!
Puppy - Yes, we got a puppy in September. The house is no longer too quiet.
Outside - See #4. Take breaks to get outside, soak in the sun and fresh air.
It's our choice where to focus energy. I've found that I get farther when I accept what I cannot change and focus my effort on something positive. Pause for a moment to consider the long list of things to be thankful for each day. Smile, keep moving and take one bite of the elephant at a time.
