Products are created and improved every day. The fuel is knowledge and feedback.

The same goes for people. We improve by learning and feedback. Formal learning, experiences and perspective give us all the opportunity to teach others.

Some choose to hold their knowledge closely, afraid to share because it feels powerful. On the flip-side, those that share knowledge and invest in others takes powerful to the nth degree.

These examples are small ways that make an impact:

  • a co-worker's tip about how to create a report faster

  • a neighbor sharing their secret recipe for the best chocolate chip cookies

  • a stranger at an event pointing you to the location of the next speaker

Think about it…when did someone last share something they learned with you? Pay it forward and don't be shy about sharing your knowledge too!
